Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of lemonsqueeze.app (the "Service"), operated by lemonsqueeze ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

lemonsqueeze is a content management platform that helps you research content ideas, generate and edit scripts with AI assistance, schedule and publish posts to connected social media accounts, and analyze performance. Features may change as we improve the product. The Service includes the Lemonsqueeze app for iPhone (the "App").

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, be at least 16 years old, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Deleting the App does not delete your lemonsqueeze.app account.

3. Subscriptions, trials & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual subscription basis via Stripe. A valid credit card is required to begin a subscription, but there is no charge when the trial begins. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Your selected paid plan begins automatically when the trial ends, and Stripe charges the monthly or annual fee shown at checkout unless you cancel during the trial. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you will not be charged.

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, payments made after a free trial has ended are final and non-refundable. Annual plans are prepaid for the full annual term and cannot be refunded, including for unused time. Monthly payments are also non-refundable once charged.

You can cancel through the Stripe billing portal or your account Settings. A monthly subscription may be canceled at any time and remains active until the end of the current monthly billing period, after which it will not renew. An annual subscription may also be canceled at any time, but it remains active until the end of the prepaid annual term and no refund is issued for the remaining term, except where required by applicable law. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated with credit for unused time on your previous tier. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. Plan allowances are measured in credits that reset each billing period; unused credits do not roll over.

The mobile app

The App is a product of its own. After you get it from the App Store you can use the teleprompter, recording, editing and saving to Photos without a lemonsqueeze.app account.

Connected features. If you also have a lemonsqueeze.app account, the App can use it: syncing your scripts and uploading videos to your brand's library. These features depend on your lemonsqueeze.app account and, where a feature is part of a plan, on your plan and its limits (section 3).

The App's subscription. The App is free to download and starts with a 7-day free trial. To keep using it after the trial, you need a yearly subscription, bought in the App through Apple. The App shows the price before you subscribe. Apple charges it to your Apple ID when the trial ends and every year after that, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current year ends. You manage and cancel the subscription in your iPhone's Settings, under Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.

Separate from lemonsqueeze.app. The App's subscription and a lemonsqueeze.app plan are separate purchases. A lemonsqueeze.app plan does not include the App's subscription, and the App's subscription does not include a lemonsqueeze.app account, plan or connected features. lemonsqueeze.app plans are bought on lemonsqueeze.app under section 3, not in the App.

Apple. Unless we say otherwise in the App Store listing, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your licence of the App. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App, its support or maintenance.

Your recordings. You keep ownership of the videos and scripts you make. Content on your phone stays on your phone unless you upload, sync or share it.

Updates. We may require you to update the App to keep using connected features.

4. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to third-party platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook) through official APIs and authorized integration partners. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms. You are responsible for ensuring content you publish complies with each platform's rules. We are not responsible for third-party platform outages, API changes, account restrictions, or content removal by those platforms.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of the content you create, upload, or publish through the Service, including AI-assisted scripts. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service (e.g. to schedule and publish your posts, or analyze your performance data). We never use your content to train AI models or share it with other customers.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI models to help generate scripts, hooks, analyses, and other content. AI output may be inaccurate or similar to output generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-assisted content before publishing and for its compliance with applicable law and platform rules. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, originality, or fitness of AI-generated content.

Automated replies

Auto replying is off by default and is switched on per brand by the customer. Replies are generated by AI and posted publicly in the customer's name on their connected accounts. The customer is responsible for the content posted from their accounts, including automatic replies, and for complying with each network's rules.

LemonSqueeze screens comments and keeps replies brief, but does not guarantee accuracy or suitability. Every automatic reply is logged and visible to the customer. The customer can switch auto replying off at any time, which stops all pending replies.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to: publish unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content; send spam or engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior; scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; resell access without our written consent; interfere with the Service's operation; or violate the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Research data

The Service surfaces publicly available social media content for research and analysis. This data belongs to its respective owners and is provided for your internal research only. Do not republish others' content without permission.

9. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of audience or reach.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms with notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will make your data available for export for 30 days after termination, after which it may be deleted.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
